To end with my visual diary I want to do a reflection about the whole subject.
During the creation of my visual diary I was not sure if I was doing it well or not. By the time, I realize that a visual diary is something that you have to adapt to yourself in order to express what you want and make it yours. I don't know if I did what I was asked to...But I'm sure that I reflect about my learning process in this Culture subject and I also make it mine, because a part from show the learning process I use different things not learnt in class but things that the classes inspire me to put in my visual diary like the ''culture is about...''.
With this project I had the opportunity to express myself as I wanted and also to do with a subject my own project, to work on it as I wanted (when it was possible).
I learnt and discovered things that I find very interesting, I become more critical and I feel that I progressed.
I don't know if I learn yet what is culture but I'm sure that the perspective that I have now is different from the previous one.
I also want to add that through the visual diary I arrived to different conclusions everyday but not to a final conclusion. I discovered that culture is a learning process, a process of feeling, of reflect, even of discover yourself, so I think that culture and culturize yourself is a life long learnig that I already started.

Culture is about ADVERTISEMENTS
As I've been showing to you something that I like a lot is advertisements and spots. I don't know why I like them that much but I simply think that they are an extraordinary thing.
Why am I saying that? It's simply, in all my post I've been using spots or advertisements, in fact publicity, that make me cry or laught or think or reflect a lot. So, they can produce me the same as a film, as a paiting or as a book that's why I think some of them are artworks.
In the other hand, I think also that some of them use the feelings of people to sell different things. And when I say ''some'' I mean the majority. But if we leave this a part, what make them shoking is that they sell things by using feelings , emotions or whatever they think it will work. And the result is amazing because it works!! (maybe capitalism helps a little bit... )
Well, today I'm gonna show that publicity sell things, yes, but you can laught a lot with them a feel different things. I would like to show some funny spots because I'm always using the most shoking ones and I want you to see how different can be the art of create advertaisments.
What do you think? Whic are really artworks? I don't know if they are art or not but I like them and I enjoy watching them as if I was watching a film.... My favorite one is the Darth Vader one!!!!! Is not funny??? Start divocovering spots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See you!

Culture is about MUSIC
Music is an art. Music is culture. Music represents feelings. Music represents people. Music represents generations. Music is an icon. Music is whatever you want.
I think everybody agree with the idea of music as an art and also as a culture. Then, what can I do? I think so.

Culture is about sport
After posting a lot of posts called ''Culture is about X'' I've been thinking in something that I'm really not sure if is culture or not, but is a lifestyle : the culture of sport.
Since I was born I swim in a team called Club Natació Badalona. Since I was born literally means since I was born. During the years I've been training hard. Training hard means to get up at half past 5 and start your day at 6.00 h with a training session of two hours long. Then go to the school and without having my hear dry come back to the pool from seven to half past nine. And what is worse repeat 6 days per week. Of course, when we have an important meet instead of 6 days per week it's seven.
Yes, I think you have to be crazy to do it. You have to choose what you want when you are really really young. And it is hard. It's hard to see while your classmates enjoy Saturdays you're in a pool racing.
But, with the years you establish priorities and surprisly what you choose is your sport, in my case swim. Why does it happen?
It's simple, all these years of effort, diet, no social life are addictive. Only athlets could understand it but the sport give you all. Give you real friends, a good life style, give you strong mind, sacrifice, be constant, no give up and what is the best part fight for your dreams.
I would not express what sports make you feel like and I'm also sure that is not an art. But I'm thinking about sport as a culture. A culture of sacrifice, of constantly of lots of things... that makes you bigger as a person. What you learn inside the pool is what you do outside and it is totally true. For me, beeing an athlet is a culture. A different one but I could understand sport as a culture after this subject!
In honor to all the people who loves sport (at any level) :

What you cannot find in literature (books, quotes, sentences...) you cannot find in another place.
In literature all is possible and all appears, in one or in another book. That's why writting is an art and it is difficult to make all people feel indetificated with a text.
That's what good writters do: make people feel and use irony.

Now I'm reading an interesting book called ''Ha vuelto'' written by Timur Vermes. Is a comedy that that talks bout Hitler living once again. He got up in Berlin in 2011. The book makes you laught from Hitler but also laught with Hitler. Is it legal???? Discover it by reading the book!!!!

Culture is about films
Movies, also known as films, are a type of visual communication which use moving pictures and sound to tell stories orinform (help people to learn). People in every part of the world watch movies as a type of entertainment, a way to have fun. Fun for some people can mean laughing, while for others it can mean crying, or feeling afraid. Most movies are made so that they can be shown on big screens at cinemas or movie theatres. After movies are shown on movie screens for a period of time (ranging from a few weeks to several months), movies are shown on pay television or cable television, and sold or rented on DVD disks or videocassette tapes, so that people can watch the movies at home. You can also download or stream movies. Later movies are shown on television stations. (from weekipedia)
Cinema is also known as the seven art. What do you think about?
In my opinion cinema is a combination of different arts: music, acting, texts... etc . This combination makes cinema unique and speciall as well as theatre. Cinema is also about subjectivity, feelings and emotions. What makes it speciall is the combination of all the elements and the result which consequently has an impact on the spectator.
When I use subjectivity I also mean that you cannot consider all films as art or as culture. Why? Because is subjective. Every point of view see films from a different perspective and the same happen with the rest: music, paitings, photographies... There are a lot of universal artworks because they have the capacity to make themselves special for some reason and to make all people in the world from all the ages agree on it. But there only a few artworks with this characterics. The rest, depends on people subjectivity. I think the Culture subject is making me be more critical and not accepting all as art or culture as ''easily''.
There I want to post some of my favourites films:
-Charlie and the chocolate factory
-Big fish
-Lost in translation
-Forest gump
-Harry Potter

THE HAPPINES OF BEING IGNORANT
In the globilized world where we live everytime is more difficult to don't know something, we are all connected and we have to much information in our hands.
It is difficult to give a meaning to globalitzation but is not as difficult to see the consequences of it. I've been listening all my life that beeing happy is beeing ignorant. So, globalitzation private us of this ignorance so fast.
It's good to be informed but to much information on an early age will destroy us. In this case, for me, the sooner is not the better.
To reflect about that I want to explain you and spot that I'm not able to find.
This has two parts.
In the first one the two main characters and old women and a black immigrant gay are together in the bus stop. The gay has an instrument and is playing it. The reaction of the women is to say that is very annoying. The other people do nothing.
In the second part the reaction of the women is totally different. What she does is sit next to the gay and talk about the instrument that she already knew. The other people is surprised.
It is interesting to ask to ourselves why we like the most the second attitude. What really means globalitzation? In this case is good? We want it? What is the relation between globalitzation and empathy?

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
Mothers are art on itself! Or not???
